These giant intersecting hoop structures provided light and drama in a building which was previously a sorting office. We used gold and black composite aluminium to create the hoops. We also made downlighters and strip lights to create drama in alongside these foyer pieces. These lights were 3m long x 2m wide. For Alumina Lighting via Geoghan Electrical, for Harcourt Developments, we were asked to replicate the original Harland & Wolff drawing office lights from 1910. These new lights, however had multiple circuits, including LED and filament lighting to provide two modes of lighting for the now famous Titanic Hotel, Belfast.
