The Ghost of Ash table is part of our Ghost of Ash range. We make this range from wind fallen ash from around the historic Boyne Valley region near our workshop in County Meath. This range acknowledges that ash, the species of tree so well known in Ireland, is currently under threat globally from dieback. We are using it, before we lose it.

This coming together of nature and contemporary design results in beautifully proportioned individual and unique pieces. Complementing our best selling range of light products we create the Ghost of Ash table with a prominent ash branch incorporated into the single leg of the table. The surfaces of these tables also feature slices from ash branches that are encased in resin before being polished to produce a smooth table top. These surfaces are held together by a solid copper band and the base is weighted with a bronze, resin and steel.
